Re-Dedication of the Citizen Advocates building located at 125 Finney Blvd. in Malone, New York Honoring Tech. Sgt. Lockwood
The public is invited to attend a re-dedication honoring Tech. Sgt. Lockwood who is the original namesake of the building where Citizen Advocates' administrative offices are now located. The Lockwood Reserve Center at 125 Finney Blvd. was originally the home of the U.S. Army's 815 Station Hospital Reserve Unit until 2004. The building was named in honor of Tech. Sgt. Lockwood, a well-known and beloved son of Malone who was killed in action while serving overseas in World War II.
In 2008 the building was put up for auction and was purchased and renovated by Citizen Advocates and continues to serve the community.
In memory of Tech. Sgt. Lockwood's Service, and to ensure the sacrifices of all members of the military are not forgotten, Citizen Advocates is holding a ceremony and plaque dedication on Monday November 12, 2018 at 3pm. In addition to unveiling the plaque, there will be special guest speakers, including members of the Lockwood family, followed by light refreshments.
The event is open to the public. RSVP's are appreciated but not required. Please contact Joe Riccio at (518) 651-2760 or e-mail email@example.com .
