A Foothills silent auction fundraiser, where one of a kind hand carved wooden fish have been decorated by 24 local artists. The silent bidding process will continue at Pouring Light Studio at 432 Main Street, Malone for the month of June. In July the fish will swim across the street to the North of the Adirondack Artist Gallery at 465 Main Street and then catch a ride to the Chateaugay Lake Arts Festival on July 25th. They will be reeled back to NOAAG for the rest of July, August and the beginning of September. A special fish dinner has been scheduled for September 10 at the Malone Country Club where the final auction of the fish will take place. Let the bidding begin.

The Franklin County Historical and Museum Society will sponsor an illustrated lecture by Steven Engelhart, Executive Director of Adirondack Architectural Heritage. The program will begin in the Schryer Center at 7:00 pm at 51 Milwaukeee Street, Malone. Suggested donation is $5.00.

Almanzo Wilder Homestead will be hosting a cocktail party at the Malone Golf Club from 4:30 - 7:00 pm. Special guest author, william Anderson is a noted historian with a specialty in Laura Ingalls Wilder. Cost is $20 which includes hors d'oeuvres. Cash bar. A lineup of local bands and artists that will be taking the stage from morning until night slope side at Titus Mountain. Bands include Strangebrew, Jam Honey, KTK, & Paid Company and local artists Shawn Legacy and Brian Fairchild round out the lineup. Event-goers can set up tents, chairs, & blankets on the face of our hill and listen to awesome local musicians take the stage.

Our 35th annual Oktoberfest is going to be back and better than ever. There will be vendors showing off local crafts and cool gadgets, a Titus Teddy Kids’ Zone with bounce houses and games, chairlift and hay rides, a ski swap and as always a grand Fireworks display to finish off the night. Great food and beverage is available throughout the day with food proceeds benefiting the Titus Mountain Ski Patrol.
