Classic Country Classics, a Concert The Vennes bring back family country classics Saturday April 21st at the Chateaugay Town Hall Theater
Beartracks artists Julie Venne-Hogan and her brother Tom Venne are playing at the Chateaugay Town Hall Theater Saturday, April 21st at 7 PM. Since Junior (from the beartracks group) is in Florida still, they have put together a classic country band. They are calling themselves The Clem Hawkins Revival Band.
The pair used to play this music with their parents in the old days and they were called The Clem Hawkins Band (with their dad known as Clem Hawkins). This is a band that they used to play in back in the 80's. It is all Classic Country and for the show they will be accompanied by lead steel guitar player Richie Lester, and they even have their old drummer, Bob Newton!
Tickets are $10 at the door and the show starts at 7 PM. Tom and Julie say this sound is different from Beartracks and they are hoping to attract a crowd who still loves to listen to Country Classics.
