The Malone and Northern Franklin County brand is based on data and research resulting from a comprehensive, collaborative study, along with the vision shared by the region's stakeholders and residents. The brand logo, colors, and fonts reflect the experiences and characteristics that make Malone a unique and compelling travel destination.
The Malone Region logo consists of custom typography encased in an oval badge design. Above the typography is a gently rolling mountain silhouette to represent the more mountainous areas of the region. The starry sky represents the dark sky opportunities unique to the Malone area. It also gives a nod to Malone's nickname of "The Star of the North," with one big star centrally positioned in the sky. The other stars represent the many diverse communities that make up the region. Below the typography is a graphical representation of agricultural fields and a winding river. This represents the Malone Region's agricultural heritage and the waterways that tie the area together.
Brand Guidelines
Through the implementation of the new brand, the goal is to create a unique image in the minds of our travelers and ultimately help differentiate Malone and its unique attractions, lodging options, and more, from other destinations. As part of this implementation process, businesses and organizations are encouraged to use the brand mark to promote their establishment as part of the overarching Malone and Northern Franklin County brand. However, to maintain a strong and effective identity means that the brand elements must be presented in a consistent manner.
