A delightful 11-mile loop with stream crossings for scenic interest. Explore this historic farming area, the backdrop for the famous children's book by Laura Ingalls Wilder, "Farmer Boy."

Directions

Begin at the intersection of Town Line Road and Stacy Road in Burke. Go east on Town Line Road (Route 36), turn south on Kay Road to Brainardsville Road (Route 24), and head east. Turn south on Pinnacle Road, then west on French Settlement Road.

Follow the turns until the road T's and head north on Moody Road. This T's at Brainardsville Road, turn west. Taking the north turn on Perham Road brings us back to our starting point.

Scenic Drives

This area has food and attractions. Visit the Almanzo Wilder Homestead on Stacy Road. This section makes a great starting point for a day of exploration. It extends as far as Chateaugay to the east.
